23 February 2018:

We regret to inform you that the WSSCC Elections sub-committee has taken the decision to nullify and postpone the elections for the South Asia Steering Committee seat due to concerns about the legitimacy of the process. As we strive to maintain a high standard and ensure free and fair elections, we will postpone and run again in time for the November 2018 Steering Committee meeting. In the meantime, the process will undergo intense scrutiny to ensure that the next election is considered free and fair by voters, nominees and candidates.

With best wishes

WSSCC Secretariat
